NEW SERVICE: ADHD Assessment and Treatment

Plaza Medicals newest service we have introduced is ADHD Assessment and Treatment. Our GP-led ADHD Assessment Service provides comprehensive, evidence-based assessments for adults and eligible young people who may have ADHD.
Through a structured assessment process, we take the time to understand your symptoms, history, and daily challenges to determine the most appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. If ADHD is diagnosed, we'll work with you to develop an individualised management plan, which may include education, practical strategies, and medication where appropriate. GP Fast Track Clinic:

Plaza Medical Centre now offers a GP Fast Track Clinic for suitable same-day health concerns. The GP Fast Track Clinic is designed for patients who need timely medical care but do not require emergency department care. It is not for emergencies, complex ongoing care, multiple unrelated concerns, long appointments, or long-term medication management. To access more information on this service - Click Here |
GP Tele-Mental Health Service:
In response to our community's rising mental health burden, we have launched a telehealth GP mental health service including psychological treatment in the form of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Bupa Visa Medical Services:

Plaza Medical is now an approved Bupa Visa Medical Centre.
If you're visiting or planning to stay in Australia, as part of your visa application, you may need to complete a medical assessment. All appointments should be booked through Bupa – https://www.bupa.com.au/bupamvs or You can also book an appointment by calling Bupa's call centre on 1300 794 919 Appointments are currently released weekly. They may be able to refer you onwards if necessary.
Telehealth - Phone & Video Consultations - If you are unable to attend the clinic, we encourage you to book a Video call with our doctors to limit who comes into the practice - this is for your safety and our team. When you book a video call you will get a SMS link straight to our video consult platform on your phone. - Immunisations- Both Childhood and Adult - We have our nurses trained and available to carry out immunisations as needed for both adults and children.
- Wound Care/Management
- Interpreter services can be arranged- Please make us aware when booking that you require an interpreter and what language and one f our receptionists will arrange an interpreter for your appointment.
Plaza Medical encourages patients to maintain an ongoing relationship with their doctor wherever possible and will endeavour to accommodate that by having urgent, routine and long consultation appointments available. Please advise reception if you require a longer consultation or a special appointment. If you are unwell or need an urgent appointment for medical reasons please call in the morning and after speaking to reception or our practice nurse we will do our best to accommodate you. Please note that our doctors will not generally prescribe medication without review so if you are on a regular medication please take this into account when organising your appointments.
